How I Developed The First Science-Based Color Analysis

When I decided 10 years ago to find my color type I was extremely disappointed by the seasonal color analysis.

As an artist and designer I expected more accuracy and less contradictions and flaws.

After hiding behind black and grey clothing for my entire life I wanted to know WHY I hated how I looked in the mirror - despite having model size and look.

The reason was the colors I was wearing.

I wanted to look radiant, authentic, and professional without bursting my closet with endless useless pieces that I wouldn´t wear.

After cracking the code on my own color type, and that of my two kids I understood how easy this was for me and how amazing I felt in my body with the right colors - FINALLY!

I got compliments for my style and people would compliment how I dress my kids.

My method is based on research in biology and physics and is developed to 100% serve the clients that started to approach me.

Being raised by an Astrophysicist dad and artist mom in Asia allowed me to combine the strengths of east and west to achieve excellence and a breakthrough for the first science-based color analysis.

See, most professionals consider practicability as their number 1 goal.

If they want to either teach someone color typing they need to have a system that wouldn´t overwhelm a regular person that has no clue about colors.

Or professionals who are selling color cards and palettes need a limited color type system to be able to sell anything while providing again a limited and generic tool to find your own color type.

Now you can imagine the type of mess this creates.

Cutting down on accuracy to sell more is definitely not my motto.

And my clients appreciate that a TON!

I am not teaching color typing for the masses and I am not selling cheap color cards for the mass market. So I can be as accurate and scientific as I can be.

Why The Ray Color Analysis Is Ground-Breaking

Unlike the seasonal analysis approach, which categorizes people into a limited number of types, my method tailors recommendations to your unique characteristics and culture, ensuring that your Ray Colors complement your True Color Type. My system allows to uncover 8 billion color types.

Accuracy

My method is more accurate in determining which colors truly enhance your appearance and natural beauty based on your unique body frequencies.

Instead of relying on broad categories, my method considers subtle variations in skin tone, hair color and eye color, resulting in color choices that are a better fit for each person.

Usually, a seasonal analyst has a limited number of fabric swatches to use for the analysis which limits their ability to really understand your innate body frequencies.

Then they also have a very limited number of colors that they can recommend based on the limited categorization of the seasons: around 10 hues usually.

My color library consists of 30 hues and more than 2000 colors and allows for a very fine-tuned approach in not only finding your unique body frequencies/coloring but also suggesting refined colors that fit like a glove!

The degree to which the eye can distinguish between colors, or the smallest color difference that can be detected, is often measured in terms of a unit called "Just Noticeable Difference" (JND).

I trained my eyes since childhood as an artist and designer to perceive color differences at an extraordinarily small JND threshold.

I can reliably detect color differences and dissonance that are 36 times smaller than what an average person can perceive as a JND.

My method allows for adjustments based on a person's evolving preferences, lifestyle changes, or seasonal variations, providing a more adaptable and long-term solution. This is especially valuable for women and men who are experiencing greying hair and want a more accurate solution.

Unlike seasonal analysis, which is not as accommodating, my method ensures that everyone will look radiant, beautiful, and healthy on the outside and inside.

My method is grounded in laws of physics and quantum physics (being raised by my Astrophysicist dad and studying various fields of science) as well as established principles of color theory, psychology, color harmony, Chromotherapy, Color Semiotics, Neuroaesthetics, and the basic laws of Asian color harmony and healing (being born and raised in Asia), established succesfully for thousands of years.

I grew up in Asia with many different cultures, skin types, and color types which makes it easy for me to see subtle differences even among Asian and African people who are so difficult for Western color professionals to see and understand.

This allows me to determine highly accurate color types for all skin tones and cultural backgrounds.

My degree in Linguistics, Ethnology, and Ethnomusicology helps me to understand the cultural backgrounds of each individual person across the globe since I studied over 10 languages and their respective cultures on the highest academic levels.
